Second Ontario Express Entry Draw of 2024 Results in 984 PR Invitations



 On January 18, 2024, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted its second Express Entry draw of the year, issuing 984 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) for provincial nomination.


This draw specifically targeted Express Entry profiles created between January 18, 2023, and January 18, 2024, with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging from 317 to 469.


The invitations were extended exclusively to profiles meeting the eligibility criteria for the OINP French-speaking Skilled Worker stream.

1. **Express Entry Profile:** Candidates must possess a valid Express Entry profile through the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or the Canadian Experience Class.


2. **Educational Qualification:** A level of education equivalent to a Canadian bachelor’s degree or higher is required.


3. **Language Proficiency:** Demonstrated French language proficiency with a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 or higher in the TCF/TEF Canada test, along with a CLB level of 6 in the English language proficiency test (IELTS/CELPIP).


4. **Settlement Funds:** Adequate settlement funds can be showcased through bank statements, non-locked investments, fixed-term deposits, mutual funds, continuous employment earnings in Ontario, or a job offer from an Ontario employer.


5. **Intention to Reside:** Candidates need to exhibit a genuine intention to reside in Ontario, substantiated by factors such as current or previous employment in the province, job offers or interviews, studying, volunteering, property ownership or leasing, professional networks, family connections, or personal relationships.
